Ambassador Li MinggangMeets with Undersecretary of Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and IndustryAbdullah Al-Afas

On 7th April 2020, Ambassador Li Minggang met with Abdullah Al-Afasi, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The main topics discussed during the meeting were the in-depth cooperation between China and Kuwait in COVID-19 response and medical supply procurement. Abdullah hailed and appreciated the effective measures taken by China in fighting COVID-19 and its outstanding success. Ambassador Li in turn thanked the Kuwaiti side for its support to China during the battle against COVID-19, and further indicated that China would be willing to provide assistance to Kuwait in procuring critical medical supplies from China.
