On 28th July 2020, Ambassador Li Minggang met with Ali Sulaiman Al-Saeid, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs of Kuwait, and exchanged views on the China-Kuwait relations and bilateral cooperation.
Ambassador Li noted that, the China-Kuwait relations and the friendship between our two peoples have grown ever stronger by mutually helping and supporting each other in the joint fight against COVID-19. China stands ready to work together with Kuwait to further deepen the strategic cooperation between the two countries, implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, and promote greater bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields in the post-pandemic era.
For his part, Ali highly appreciated the significant achievements attained by China in its response to the COVID-19 epidemic and indicated that Kuwait and China have conducted fruitful cooperation in a bid to combat COVID-19. Kuwait is ready to work with China to continuously enhance bilateral cooperation in various domains and promote the China-Kuwait strategic partnership to a new height.
